About the Position

Opportunity:

Travel Social Worker - LMSW

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment working 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Schedule options include Monday through Friday or Friday through Monday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Occasional weekend coverage may be required (rarely)
• Masters in Social Work (MSW) or equal educational degree required
• Active Alaska Social Work License (LMSW) required and must be in hand prior to submission
• Experience with EMR systems EPIC and MIDAS required
• Patient ratio of 1:8
• Float to cover all units with rotational coverage in ER and Mother/Baby
• Conduct assessments of social situations and needs and develop corresponding care plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds for discharge planning
• Must be an independent self-starter with willingness to consult with other professionals
• Must have secured housing and transportation before accepting the assignment
• Attire: scrubs or business casual
